

Mike Halder was fastest of all in a drying second practice session in Belgium, with a rain shower hitting the track just before the green light, before rapidly drying with everyone improving over the course of the 30 minutes.
With the heavy rain shower, initial lap times were over 30 seconds off of the earlier session’s dry pace, but times tumbled as the circuit dried out, with Halder’s final flying lap of 2:30.965 just two seconds away from the earlier session’s top time set by Nicolas Taylor.
Halder toppled ALM Motorsport team-mate Max Hart at the end of the session, going nine-tenths of a second faster, while Free Practice 1 pace-setter Nicolas Taylor was third fastest.
Santiago Concepción put in a late flyer to move up to fourth ahead of Spa debutant Adam Shepjherd, who was the best-placed of all the CUPRA drivers.
Junesung Park was sixth fastest ahead of TCR Europe returnee Stian Paulsen, while points leader Alex Ley was eighth in his BRC Racing Team Hyundai, ahead of Marco Butti’s CUPRA and the second of Solite Indigo Racing’s Hyundais, Junui Park, in tenth
The next session is qualifying and gets underway at 12:10 CEST tomorrow.
