Many of TCR Europe's teams and drivers will be in action this weekend at the opening event of the 2026 TCR Spain season at Jarama.

ALM Motorsport, which has so far revealed its livery but not its drivers for TCR Europe, will run a trio of Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCRs for Demir Eröge, René Povlsen, and Sten-Dorian Piirimägi. Piirimägi also made his TCR Europe debut at Spa-Francorchamps last year, and qualified in the top ten despite a last-minute call-up.

Viktor Andersson will get his first race experience with Monlau Motorsport early, competing in the team's sole CUPRA Leon VZ TCR. This allows the Swedish racer to get a head start as he makes the switch from his Lynk & Co to CUPRA this year.

TCR Europe's returning team SP Compétition will also field a pair of CUPRAs for Manuel Fernandes and Sandro Pelatti. Pelatti was also part of the TCR Europe family last year, driving for PMA Motorsport for the last half of the season, taking over the car from his home event at Misano.

Last year's title contenders Team Clairet Sport will also run three cars in TCR Spain this weekend, but with the brothers Jimmy and Teddy Clairet running the team and not driving this time. The team's drivers this weekend are Samuel Chaligne, Erik Zabala, and Mathieu Casalonga.

Lastly, current Diamond Trophy champion Victor Fernández will be on the grid this weekend with RC2 Racing Team in his Civic Type R.
